Our Story
Founder and Lead Investigator Ryan Hidde
I was raised with a deep respect for service, honor, and the belief that truth matters. At the age of 17, I made a decision that would define the next two decades of my life: I joined the United States Army. What started as a commitment to serve my country grew into a 20-year career in military intelligence and law enforcement support.
During my service, I worked alongside some of the most dedicated professionals in the world. I trained extensively in surveillance, questioning and interviewing techniques, and case management. I coordinated with federal, state, and international agencies, producing intelligence and investigations that directly impacted missions and saved lives. I learned the value of discipline, discretion, and integrity — skills that have become part of who I am.
After retiring from the Army, I asked myself what was next. The answer came naturally: continue to serve, but in a way that protects and supports individuals, families, and businesses here at home. Becoming a Private Investigator allows me to take the advanced training and hard-earned experience I gained in uniform and apply it to real-world situations in my community.
At Picacho Peak Private Investigations, my mission is simple: to find the truth, provide clarity, and give my clients peace of mind. Whether it’s a personal matter like infidelity or custody, or a business issue such as fraud or hidden assets, I approach every case with the same dedication I gave my military career.
This isn’t just a profession for me — it’s a continuation of a lifelong commitment to uncovering the facts and protecting what matters most.
